I read the “Radical But Right” which was written by Sarah Wells from the Arak Anthology, the author tells us the question of animals rights and asserts that animals should be protected from human harm.
The author claims there are not enough ways to protect animals from cruelty slaughtering and people should no longer kill or abuse animals. And the writer uses adequate reasons to support her claim. First, she indicates us that animals exhibit so many redeeming characteristics, such as intelligence, compassion so that they have the right to live. In addition, she tells us that animals can feel pain and they have interests so that they should have rights. Third, there is no specific physiological need for people to consuming animals, and it is also good for people’s health and without consuming animals can keep them away from certain diseases.
The writer use a barbeque as an example happens in our daily life and several science evidence and experiments to support her claim. As I think, the essay is very persuasive not only because it uses a lot of examples to support its claim but also because she uses lots of quotations which strongly support her idea.

Who possess rights to write the history? Whether the history is always true or not? As we all know, different people have different views about the history and heated arguments exist from ancient to present. Nevertheless, no one can deny that winner writer the history.
For instance, during the World WarⅡ, Japan declared war on China. China was the first country to fight the Fascist aggressor, experiencing the longest period of fighting, and suffering the heaviest losses. China played an important role in the World War II. Chinese people will never forget August15, 1945, when Japanese government announcing that its unconditional surrender. Japanese militarism, the No.2 war criminal in World War II, collapsed. The Chinese people won the final victory in the anti-Japanese national liberation war through their struggles. As a winner, in Chinese textbooks, historians always boosted how great our army and people were, and how barbarous behaviors of the Japanese army. While, in Japanese textbooks that period of history is totally opposite, they claimed that they declared the war because China invaded their sovereign rights and they have the responsibility to protect their country.
